We are brothers, family men, and lifelong residents of this wonderful Yuba-Sutter community, located in Northern California. We were born and raised here and now we have the privilege of raising our own families in the same area we’ve always called home. Derek Sandgren
& his family
Derek and Sara met at college, when they both attended University of the Pacific and married in 2005. After graduation, they moved back to Yuba City and after Derek’s younger brother, Brian, showed success and flexibility in his schedule, Derek made the leap into real estate...and hasn’t looked back since!
Derek and Sara welcomed a daughter, Claire, in 2009 and a second daughter, Avery, in 2011. Sara and Jenny (Brian’s wife) started a home design and organization business, Sandgren Solutions, in 2022 and have been building their clientele ever since.
As a family, they love to get dirty together with their RZRs, as well as traveling. Trying to make time to do that in between Claire’s dance and Avery’s soccer is a feat, but one that is a priority for their family.

Brian Sandgren
& his family
Brian and Jenny have been married over 15 years, after meeting in college at the University of the Pacific. Together, they have two daughters: Layla and Charlotte. Layla loves school and has great academic marks. She has also been training and competing in gymnastics for over 8 years and is now a level 7 gymnast. Charlotte is outgoing and kind, making friends with all. She stays busy with Girl Scouts, competitive soccer and city league basketball.
Jenny and Sara (Derek’s wife) started their own home design and organization business called Sandgren Solutions, established 2022. When Jenny is not busy with home design, she helps at Franklin School’s reading lab and is a member of Franklin School Parents Club, devoting the majority of her time volunteering and organizing school activities.
Brian was born and raised in the Yuba-Sutter area and grew up around the local real estate industry. His parents were local developers and through their hard work and dedication, inspired Brian to choose a career in real estate, and he hasn't looked back!
